Our approaches to sustainability include the following:

 

Measures to reduce water use and Rainwater use;

100% green and locally produced electricity;

Use of eco-labelled products in washing machines and dishwashers;

Measures to extend the life of our furniture, apploances and equipement;

Energy saving ( at least 90% of the bulbs in our two cottages are energy efficient, outdoor lighting is limited, the heating system is non-electrc, electrical equipement and appliances ( class A and A+++ electical appliances and equipement, insulated hot water pipes);

Proposal of activities on the theme of sustainable development, nature and the environnement for guests;

Environmental aspects are taken into account during renovation work ( use of ecological paints and materials, etc., outdoor installations that allow Rainwater to drain naturally);

Biodiversity-enhancing facilities ( maintenance of unmowed ares, nesting boxes, piles of wood for hedgehogs and other living creatures such as insects, mushrooms, etc., presence of a number of coniferous trees ( among other species), wastewater treatment via a lagooning system, garden surrounded by hedges of native species and centuries-old beech trees, creation of a vegetable garden with numerous organic products),

Promotion of social and environmental activities at the local level, as well as development of environmental and natural activities in the region.
